This policy explains what personal data OkeyPackaging Ltd collects, why we collect it, and what your rights are. It applies to visitors to our website and to anyone who buys from us or contacts us. We are the data controller for the personal data we hold about you.
When you request a quote, place an order or contact us, we collect: your name, business name, email, phone, delivery address, billing details and the contents of your enquiry. When you visit the site, we automatically collect: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and referring URL. We do not collect special-category data and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We use your personal data to: send quotes, process orders, deliver Goods, take payment, answer your questions, send you transactional emails about your order, comply with our legal obligations, and improve the website. We do not run a marketing email list. We do not sell or rent your data.
We process your data on the following bases: contract (to provide the Goods you ordered), legitimate interests (to run our business and improve the site), legal obligation (to meet tax, accounting and consumer-protection rules), and consent (for non-essential cookies).
We share data only with the processors needed to deliver our service: payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), couriers (Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, UPS, FedEx), our hosting and email infrastructure providers, and our accountants. Each is bound by a written data-processing agreement and processes data only on our instructions.
Order records: 7 years (HMRC requirement). Quote correspondence: 2 years. Website analytics: 26 months. Account data: until you close the account, then deleted within 90 days unless we are required to retain it.
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep your cart working and to remember your language preference. We use anonymised analytics cookies only with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time in your browser settings.
